The Doormen, an entirely original musical (remember those?!) for which I wrote the music, alongside book and lyrics by Joe Boover and Victor Verhaeghe, was presented as part of the New York Theatre Festival in early May at Teatro Latea. Out of 96 productions, the show won 5 of our 8 festival nominations, including Best Production, Best Score, Best Direction, and Best Choreography.

We are currently looking for the next development opportunities. For more information, email TheDoormenMusical@yahoo.com

I'll be playing Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet Christmas at Bucks County Playhouse from Novermber 18-January 1. Directed by Hunter Foster. During that time, I'll also be doing two A Million Dollar Christmas concerts, on Dec 7 in Shipensewa, IN and Dec 17 in Dekalb, IL.

With my production company, I created, produced, and will be performing in a new theatrical concert called Less Honkin', More Tonkin'. It had its debut performance at Gretna Theatre July 29-30. Click HERE to inquire about booking the show.

The Doormen tells the story of Danny Pinkerton, a young orphan-turned-doorman, who embarks on a journey to finally earn his estranged father's approval by becoming 'Doorman of The Year'. It won't be an easy task to surpass doorman veteran Brock Tanner Kurosawa, winner of 'Doorman of the Year' for 29 consecutive years; but what Danny lacks in experience he makes up for in faith in the mythic doorman code left behind by his father. Will he win his father's approval, or will his domineering, doorman-hating foster mommy, Bryce Dallas Howard (not the actress) eliminate the profession altogether?
